Dayna Walton
Dayna is a recent graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design, earning her BFA and Excellence Award in Printmaking in May of 2019. Originally from Hudsonville, MI, she currently lives and works in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When the world allows, she travels as much as possible for events, research, residencies, art fairs, and public art projects.
A key part of Dayna’s practice is teaching workshops in her Grand Rapids community and throughout the state and region. Her classes bring together art and science, aiming to start conversations about conservation.
Her deep-rooted passion for the natural world is the driving factor in her work, her background studying natural science illustration shows in her prints, patterns, and design work.
