Movies on Monroe

Lions and Rabbits Center or the Arts has partnered with Downtown Grand Rapids Inc (DGRI) to create an interactive parking lot mural. Located at 555 Monroe Ave NW, community members are invited to bring their own chairs, snacks and beverages to enjoy double feature films during DGRI’s Movies on Monroe series.

This ground mural invites community members into an underwater journey filled with fish and fun! We are pleased to invite families and friends to come together in this space to play, relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Don’t have a chair, no problem! During events Friends of Grand Rapids Parks rents out lawn chairs for $2 each along with food trucks on site. All movie events, free to the public, broadcasted on a giant 400 square foot LED video wall presented in partnership with Live Space.
