WOMEN’S WAY

Public Art Partnership Project

Downtown Grand Rapids Inc | The Greater Grand Rapids Women’s History Council| The City of Grand Rapids

In partnership with Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., The Greater Grand Rapid’s Women’s History Council, the City of Grand Rapids, Lions & Rabbits Center for the Arts led the development of a series of murals to commemorate historically influential and iconic Grand Rapids women.

The Women's Way initiative amplifies the stories of exceptional women throughout Grand Rapids’ history through the creative expression of a local artist. This initiative included a series of community listening sessions for their stories to be heard and provided the artists with a chance to gather inspiration for their public art murals.
